[36/42] In Vaud l'eau – At the bottom of the Doubs canyon reign calm and voluptuousness
For those who go further than the Saut du Doubs, the Franco-Swiss river offers a fascinating walk in unspoiled nature.
Raphael Ebinger
The Doubs is an invitation to get off the beaten track and take your time, even if it means taking detours. The Franco-Swiss river sets the example, which travels 453 kilometers to flow into the Saône 90 kilometers as the crow flies from where it took its source. Before turning around, however, she has the good fortune to make a brief passage through Switzerland over eighty kilometers of great beauty.
