Of life ! That's what Lanvin gave us with its ready-to-wear collection for fall-winter 2021-2022. After 1 year of fashion shows in videos, seeing models partying in fabulous clothes (the word is out.) does a lot of good. Luxury is expressed in everything we love: glamor, carelessness, the dream. It is an anticipation of our next evenings, of our next unmasked laughter that promises us Bruno Sialelli who officiates as designer of the house. Since his arrival, Lanvin has reconnected with the avant-gardism that Alber Elbaz gave it without losing the rigor and elegance instilled by Jeanne Lanvin, the creator of the century-old house. Under its swell, the French label is inclusive, as proven in particular by its partnership with the voguing collective House of Lanvin.
Under Sialelli, Lanvin is facetious. For next winter, the designer is offering coats without an A-neck, dresses topped with frills, strapless tops, sequins... And that's not counting the highly desirable accessories like mini-bags , long leather gloves, oversized belts. Here a bare back, there a leopard outfit, pink, earrings that nestle in the neck... The rich girl Lanvin is the party girl we all have deep inside us. The one we can't wait to see come out and go wild on the slopes of the trendiest places as well as survey the most traditional places. And if the video's nod to MTV in the 2000s has escaped you, the title Rich Girl, performed by Gwen Stefani and rapper EVE - who also makes a cameo in the video - will remind you of it.
