Jülidé Eris (24), Florença Caplain (33) and Mégane Fleury (27) are three resourceful young women. The first lives in Louviers (Eure), the other two in Évreux.

The three friends met at the ESCCI Ecole Supérieure CCI Portes de Normandie, in Évreux, during their Master 2 in purchasing and logistics. It was in 2019. They had the common desire to undertake in the fashion world.

Three years later was born Linpact, a start-up based in Louviers. Their ambition?

This young start-up positions itself on the design (in France) and the marketing of eco-designed linen-based clothing and accessories.

“Jülidé sowed the first seed”

After their graduation, Jülidé, Florença and Mégane had nevertheless taken different paths.

Jülidé worked in the space sector in Vernon for Ariane Group.

Mégane did an international corporate volunteering (VIE) in Bangladesh as a product development manager in textiles.

Florença, finally, semi-professional basketball player in the women's team of Évreux (N2), lived in the United States before returning for the Master 2 and starting to write an autobiographical book.

"It's the eco-friendly material par excellence"

À Louviers, la Start-up Linpact lance une gamme de vêtement 100 % en lin

Initially, the young women wanted to launch a fashion brand but were not yet talking about linen. “It's a material that I have loved for a long time, the type of clothing that I like to wear. And while traveling in Normandy, I saw a lot of flax crops,” says Mégane Fleury. The idea was launched.

The three friends agree that "it's the eco-friendly material par excellence to respond to the current problems of the textile industry". They undertake to concentrate production in France. “The clothing workshops are in Ile-de-France and the culture is local. There is just the flax spinning stage which is not done in France. »

“Normandy’s leading eco-luxury brand”

The start-up therefore offers 100% linen clothing for all seasons. Firstly, "Normandy's first eco-luxury brand" will offer products for babies and children up to three years old: jumpsuits, overalls (three models in three sizes), "survival kits for parents" comprising a swaddle, a bodysuit and a bloomer, as well as a birth box (sleeping bag, mittens, swaddle, bodysuit and soap).

In addition, Linpact offers an innovative option: rather than parting with products once they have become too small, it will be possible to send the box back so that the textile can be recovered and transformed into "upcycled" accessories, i.e. say upgraded.

“In this case, our customers will benefit from discounts on some of our products”, they specify.

And a little more solidarity: Linpact undertakes to donate part of its profits to the Gaillon integration center with which the company collaborates.

Crowdfunding and pre-orders

But to make this possible, Linpact goes through crowdfunding via the Ulule Internet platform.

For the past few days, various products have been available for pre-order: a 100% linen polo shirt for men, another for women and two soaps co-developed with linseed oil (€110 for the polo shirts, €28 for the ).

Ultimately, they obviously want to expand their offer to products for adults.

"It's top of the range, we are certain of the quality of our products", insist the three entrepreneurs. And their project finds a certain eco: more than 60 polo shirts and about fifteen soaps were sold during the first presentation evening at Neubourg last June.
