The fashion moment: the secrets to manufacture Dior scarves

The French house puts the grapple on the scarf trend and launches an ultra-desirable collection.Presentation.

Among the list of fashion trends in the fall-winter 2021-2022, the silk scarf holds a size.Why do we love it?Its natural elegance and versatility which allows it to wear it as well around the neck, on the handle of a handbag, around the waist in belt or in the hair.Flashing the trend, Maison Dior has placed it in the heart of its fall-winter collection and unveiled a line of scarves with the Italian artist Pietro Ruffo.The emblematic codes of the French label are transposed on the fabric according to a primordial first step, colorization, thanks to the feather engraving method.Subsequently, the sketches are deployed on silk in the Italian workshops of the house, depending on the printing in the frame or in inkjet.The next phase is to pass the fabrics in a steam halo, before they were washed.Among the patterns presented on this scarf line, the famous Jouy canvas, an iconic print used by Christian Dior in 1947.
