These lace-up jeans look more like they're rolled up like a roast beef
UNUSUAL - Fashion has its reasons that reason sometimes has trouble understanding. After the surprise success of the "string" jeans, the lace-up "roast beef" jeans are also trying to impose themselves on the front of the fashion scene. With more... mixed feedback. The idea comes from the Fashion Nova brand, as noted by the Metro news site.
The "pants", a term that should be used here in quotation marks, is sold at the modest price of 49.99 dollars (about 40 euros) and consists of a part in white laces, to be tied around the legs, and a part in light blue denim that hides the crotch. The back of the pants is however more covered as shown by a quick search on the site.
Of course, on Instagram, people had many, many things to say in comments about this garment.
- First of all, the questions, legitimate: "But who could wear that?" asks someone, "How are you supposed to put it on is nonsense", continues another "How do you wear underwear?", raises, deservedly a subscriber, while some still question their intentions: "is it wrong to want to buy it?" seriously asks this commentator.
- Then come the remarks, under the influence of emotion: "I am worried", writes a surfer, "it's a big no", declares another, "I have the impression that things are going a little too much away...", while several invite the brand to "fire their entire team".
- Then it's the turn of mockery, more or less justified: "Did you say sausage?" (in French please), "You make us look like hams", nuance this one, "imagine the tan lines!!!!" laughs another with a lot of emojis, "so you want to cut the blood circulation to your legs", ironically points out a pragmatic commentator.

In short, the product is not unanimous in comments. And yet, as an observant Internet user will point out, the fashion and beauty influencer Melly Sanchez followed by more than a million people has already adopted it:
Like what, trends are everywhere. Note also that the product is already sold out in 4 out of 8 sizes.
The Fashion Nova brand also seems to be playing on the craze for "laced jeans", and has posted a "belted" version that is just as surprising. With almost as many divisions in comments.
