Volotea updates its luggage policy
Put your suitcase in the hold or in the cabin? This is a common question for customers of low-cost airlines. Volotea has decided to publish a new hand luggage policy, effective June 8, 2022. What changes for Volotea passengers?
Travelling with a low-cost airline is not always easy, due to constant changes in baggage policies.
As France prepares for a historic summer, Volotea has just published its new requirements for passengers regarding suitcases and other bags.
Please note that the update to the hand luggage policy comes into effect from this Wednesday, June 8, 2022.
From today, passengers who have not taken priority boarding will only be able to take a small bag in the cabin.
This cannot exceed 30 cm in width, for 40 cm in length (see photo, below).
If ever the luggage is larger, then at the boarding gate it will be necessary to check it in. This process will be charged an additional 50 euros, per item and per trip.
For people who will have priority boarding, it will be possible to take a piece of luggage 55 cm high and 40 cm wide into the cabin.
