What could be cuter than a coat hook for your children's room, on which they can hang all their little clothes? Here is our selection of DIY, easy and varied, to make a custom model!

A coat hook… what is it for?

First cousin of the coat rack, the coat hook is a support to be fixed to the wall. Generally in the shape of a disc or a ball, it allows you to hang your coats, your scarves, your vests or even your bath towels or your bags. Less intrusive than the coat rack, it can fit anywhere, whether in a cramped entrance, or in an office, a bathroom or... a child's room!

Why install coat hooks in a child's room?

There is never too much storage in a child's room! Taking up little space, fixed to a wall, the hook can be associated with other more substantial storage (cupboards, chests, shelves...). Little tip: provide coat hooks fixed at your child's height so that he can use them alone, in complete independence. You can place them on the door of his room, next to his little child's desk or near his bed. You can also have fun attaching several coat hooks side by side and hanging small bags on them, with a specific use for each one: the bag for the comforters, the bag for the pacifiers, the pencils, etc. A technique that will also promote your child's autonomy.
