The beginning of this 11th week of amenorrhea marks your entry into the 3th month of pregnancy . Good news: the pregnancy ailments that you have experienced in recent weeks are starting to fade. On the other hand, you feel more short of breath than usual. This is due to the increase in your blood volume and therefore your blood pressure.

Nutrition during the 9th week of pregnancy...
... And until delivery! Even if at this stage your body is showing new curves and you may be worried about the potential appearance of stretch marks. To avoid them, hydrate yourself with an anti-stretch mark suitable for pregnancy that you will massage. In parallel, you can also act by drinking water. This will deeply water your skin. The right amount? Minimum 1 glass of water every two hours. Squeezed lemon water is also recommended since its vitamin C promotes skin elasticity. We also say yes to foods rich in omega-3, such as mackerel, sardines and anchovies, well cooked of course. Also bet on vegetable oils to stimulate the production of collagen. Also eat foods rich in vitamin E: 1 handful of almonds, sunflower seeds or an avocado can be on the menu. All of them prevent the degradation of collagen fibers. Finally, to soften your skin, bet on foods rich in silica. For this, replace refined cereals with whole grain cereals such as oats, rye, brown rice or barley.

Beware of urinary tract infections! And yes, in pregnant women, the increase in progesterone increases the risk of urinary tract infection. This disease is generally manifested by a frequent desire to urinate only a few drops and burning sensations. But beware, during pregnancy, it can be sneaky and only suggest very few symptoms (only vague pelvic heaviness). So take the slightest sign seriously and discuss it with your doctor. During pregnancy, a poorly treated urinary tract infection can cause serious damage such as kidney damage or premature delivery. To avoid any risk of urinary tract infection, just follow some simple recommendations. First of all, drink plenty of water, about 1.5l per day, accompanied by herbal tea, unsweetened fruit juice or broth. Choose mild soaps and cotton underwear.
