“A slap in the face”! Mother attacked in the street for breastfeeding in public

Maÿlis is the mother of a premature baby. The young woman took a slap in the face for having … breastfed her baby in public. She recounted her attack in a video.

Maÿlis is the mother of a baby born "very prematurely", now six months old. The young woman has to go to a shop in Bordeaux to pick up a package. And that's when little Nino asks for food, as RTL reports. Maÿlis then tries to make him wait for about ten minutes, but the infant seems determined to eat. Dressed in a breastfeeding T-shirt, the mother then decides to breastfeed him. "I put on suitable clothes, which open on the sides, to really try to do this discreetly, and there in addition, since there were people, I hid with my jacket", explained the young woman in a video published on the Doctissimo site.

Nothing shocking, especially since no law prohibits breastfeeding your baby in public. And yet, a woman is scandalized by the scene... "As soon as the breast-feeding is done, there is a lady who starts screaming and says to me 'are you not ashamed?', says the woman. Nino's mum, before continuing, the lady was screaming, insulting me, 'the new generation is here to show off, you're a mum, you have to plan your son's meals, you should have done that at home, this isn't 'is not something you do like that in public'". Beyond the words, the lady ended up coming to blows: "I didn't have time to realize what was happening, I got slapped in the face with baby in my arms", says the young mother. The latter received no help from those who witnessed the scene. "I had absolutely no support from the people who were present, regrets Maÿlis, the lady behind her in the line, congratulated her (...) The rest of the line lowered their heads, ignored, and he nothing happened, no one defended me."

An attack that had physical and psychological consequences on the mother and her baby

Stunned by what she has just experienced, the young mother then put her baby back in the stroller, picked up her sunglasses that had fallen off after the slap she received and went home to cry. "I would have liked to react so much, but with a baby in your arms what do you want to do?" Loose Maÿlis. The latter decides to file a complaint. But she is not at the end of her troubles. The policeman he received asked him “at what percentage precisely” could his chest be seen? "I told him 0 (...) He kindly made me understand that it was also my fault, that I had looked for it a little", continues the young woman. In addition to the psychological consequences, the aggression of Maÿlis also had physical consequences since Nino had his neck blocked and his mother "did not have a single drop of milk, nothing more".

There are serious social cases in their thoughts! A mother who feeds her baby is shocking, but an "old goat" who attacks her, isn't that? Society is sick!

Is there no class in high school today? comments from a kid who doesn't know anything, what should she have done to let her baby starve so as not to shock the frustrated? when the fool who thinks that a 6-month-old baby doesn't recognize his mother then it's a waste of time for her. !!!

Go complain about it! She really has time to waste. This time, she would have done better to use it to fill a bottle of breast milk. And it doesn't take much for them to be traumatized... Not to mention that everything has to be exposed on the networks, the slightest incident of everyday life! Personally, I would never have thought of breastfeeding my children in public. In addition, a baby can very well wait 10 minutes. It's not because we have a baby that we have all the rights and I find it very embarrassing if a woman shows off her breasts in public.

"She only had to feed her baby before" MDR it is well known that babies are never hungry between two feedings! What a beautiful country France! We see women with hair to sell creams, drinks, cars, half of the women show their asses in vermin that are too short, tight or have holes... but seeing a nipple from a mother breastfeeding her baby , and everyone cries foul, it's pathetic! Personally, I prefer to have to explain to my children why this lady is in this position to feed her baby, than why a crazy night slaps a mom Because she is feeding her baby! Poor world

I find it very beautiful and natural to breastfeed her child or whatever, this woman was surely discreet with her child. How did a human being, a woman allow herself to hit her, but what right do you have to beat people, I'm proud of this woman who feeds her child, it's wonderful to give breast milk everywhere , nothing more beautiful. I hope she gets better and keeps doing this. Great respect for her. What a sick society towards others.

We're not talking about sex here! She was feeding her child, we don't have to intervene period! This aggression must be taken into account by the police if she wants to be respected!
