To sew the elephant trophy you need:
Stationery :
- 30 x 40 cm of orange wool felt for the head of the elephant;
- 10 x 16 cm of white wool felt for defenses;
- padding;
- Pencil ;
- Paper ;
- Sons and embroidery needle;
- Pins;
- Scissors ;
- Sewing machine.
Make the elephant trophy:
Seams included 0.5 cm.
1.Reproduce the pattern page 91 on a sheet of paper and cut the different parts.
2.Report the boss's parts to the corresponding felt pieces then cut in the 4 -piece white felt for the defenses.Cut in the orange 2 -piece felt for the head, 1 piece for the forehead, 1 piece for the back of the head and 2 rooms for the ears.
3.Embroider the eyes at the back as indicated on the pattern.
4.The defenses: superimpose 2 white felt defenses and sew them all around the festoon point.Do the same for the other defense.
5.The election of the elephant: sew the different parts of the elephant together by matching the AA ’, BB’ and CC ’landmarks.Continue by sewing the two parts of the trunk together up to the benchmark.
6.Place the defenses and ears on the locations, sew the back of the head, leaving an opening then padded and close.
