Essone. A call for witnesses launched after the abandonment of a baby on a RER C platform at Juvisy station

The departmental direction of public security of Essonne announced this Tuesday, October 26, 2021, that the mother of the baby presented himself at the police station of Juvisy-sur-Orge.
Three days after the fact, the investigators remain unanswered. They certainly hope to see more clearly thanks to the call for witnesses launched on Monday. Three days ago, Friday October 22, 2021, between 5 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., a woman abandoned the child she was accompanying on the RER C platform at Juvisy-sur-Orge station (Essonne).

According to the first elements available to the investigators, this woman asked for the help of a man to get off the train with the child while she was carrying the stroller. However, the woman returned to the train before the doors closed, leaving the man who had just helped her with the child and stroller.
The train traveling from Versailles Chantier resumed its journey towards Versailles Rive Gauche. Thus the investigators are looking for anyone likely to bring elements to the investigation.

According to the description communicated by the police, the woman sought is of “African type with light skin, of normal build, measuring approximately 1.65 m”. At the time of the events, she was wearing a black cap, gold earrings and was "probably wearing a wig" with short, black hair.
Also according to the police report, she was dressed in black and white jogging with patterns and wore "shoes with flower patterns on the top, camel color".
The police call for witnesses does not specify the relationship between the wanted woman and the abandoned baby, aged about 1 year in the photo that accompanies the call for witnesses.
