INTERVIEW.Nathalie Porte, MP for Calvados: "The case it costs cannot drag on"

Êtes-vous pour un assouplissement du pass sanitaire ou êtes-vous pour sa suppression ?

I am for compulsory vaccination for everyone.More and more people are vaccinated.But today people are trafficking, make false pass.This summer, on the terrace, I saw couples presenting a pass that was not theirs.We were in a small town.The gendarmes had come by explaining to support restaurateurs who had something else to do.Couples were around sixty years old.They were upset to have to show the health pass to the gendarmes.There is another problem: people who have had a false pass by their doctor and can no longer be vaccinated because they are considered to be vaccinated.

Is there a traffic jam in the texts to vote because of the covid?Is the agenda very busy?

Yes.And there are a lot to pass knowing that, compared to the elections, there is a constraint in terms of time.At the end of February, the parliament is closed.

What is your point of view on the 2022 finance bill?

Compared to the state budget, if I have supported the exceptional measures taken during the health crisis, I find that this 2022 budget offers too much unlikely expenses."Whatever it costs" cannot drag on.The French will have to reimburse one day or another and they know it.I have the impression that the President of the Republic makes a budget for his electoral campaign than a budget for the good of France.

And what are your expectations on the social security finance bill?

I would like us to better distribute doctors on the national territory.Since the order of doctors categorically refuses the "automatic assignments" of young doctors, I find that the state could at least prohibit doctors from settling in the areas already sufficiently provided in a doctor, so that the facilities benefit frommedical deserts.

Recently, as part of the AAH reform project, an allocation to disabled adults, you recently asked for the deconjugalization of this allowance ...

Yes, on ne peut pas comparer une allocation en raison d’un handicap avec le RSA.The situation is not the same.If you conjugate the spouse's income with this AAH, especially when people with disabilities are in a relationship or want to get into a couple, it makes them lose or decrease this allowance.So not only do they undergo disability but they are made to understand that they cannot have financial autonomy.We aggravate the loss of autonomy of these people.We give them the message that without their spouse they can do nothing.The majority of people who have alerted me to the subject are affected because they unfortunately cannot have a job, their handicap does not allow them at all.But the majority made amendments to remove our articles on our bill concerning disability.All our articles have been deleted one by one.It is a strong disappointment, not only on the benches of the Republicans, but also for the socialists, the rebellious France and the Communists.

On a practical level, how do you manage to manage your missions to the region both as a deputy?

The advantage that I have is to be able to reconcile the movements in the regions with my mandate as a deputy.I very often have a link between the two.The parliamentary constraint is Paris at the start of the week.But we have a lot of meetings that are still in Visio.When it was at the start of the week, I manage to find a one hour niche to do them.It's going very well.I make a regular point with the office of President Morin on the subjects of Norman interests.I also maintain this link with the municipalities.For example, I am one of two information missions, one on the importance of downtown trade in the development and attractiveness of the territory, and the second on national resilience.
