Open or closed labor festival?
Are shopping centers open? What about public transport services, banks and libraries? The schedules of several establishments will be subject to changes for Labor Day, Monday, September 6.
Open
Small grocery stores, public markets and pharmacies will remain open on this holiday. SAQ express branches, convenience stores and gas stations will also be covered.

The Biodôme, the Botanical Garden, the Planetarium and the museums will welcome young and old throughout the day.
The ecocentres will be open at the usual hours. Garbage and recycling collections will remain unchanged.
Public transit remains functional, but according to modified schedules.
Closed
Shops and shopping centers will be closed on this holiday.
Federal and provincial service points such as the Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ) will not open their doors on Monday.
Financial institutions will remain closed on September 6 as well.
So will SQDC branches.
Post offices and libraries will not be open.
