Congé de paternité sur les rails : le décret est publié

This leave goes from 11 days to 25 calendar days.In counting, the birth leave of 3 working days, provided for by the Labor Code, an employee will therefore benefit in all of 28 days (against 14 before) from leave after the birth of his child.

In the event of multiple births, paternity leave will drop from 18 to 32 calendar days (plus 3 days of birth leave, except higher duration set by collective agreement).

A leave to be taken within 6 months after the birth of the child

The employee on paternity leave benefits from daily allowances paid by Social Security (under the same conditions as maternity daily unmnivics).

Attention ! une partie du congé paternité est obligatoire (4 jours consécutifs adossés au congé de naissance, soit 7 jours obligatoires en tout).The second period of paternity leave, namely the balance of 21 days (28 days in the event of multiple births), may be taken in succession.This part of the leave may be split into 2 periods with a minimum duration of 5 days each.
