Where to dress our kids for back to school?
Cos I Said So for unisex clothing
We know the small Belgian brand of children's clothing COS I SAID SO, an eco-responsible brand, which creates fairly minimalist pieces, in organic cotton and mainly unisex for the little ones. The brand, which produces everything in Antwerp, was born in 2016 and has succeeded in creating peppy and original collections without falling into genre clichés. Yes, we can imagine colorful sweatshirts that girls as well as boys want to wear. Another challenge met: a top quality/price ratio and a loyal community both in the Antwerp store and online... The latest Tom's Diner collection is inspired by the song of the same name by Suzanne Vega, but we fell in love with the Happy Human T-shirts, so fashionable.

Mini'On for a cutting-edge wardrobe
Since 2015, a Mini'on shop has been set up in Namur, in Erpent, to the delight of young and future parents. Behind this specialized store for kids, we find Maïté, young mother of a little Isaac. At the time when she becomes pregnant, she cannot find products that suit her. She then decided to create her own brand. Six years later, she has just opened another boutique in Brussels, near Ixelles. There are many popular Scandinavian brands such as Babybjorn, Done By Deer, Cotton & Sweets and Gang of Kids.

IKKS, for a matching look
To start this new year, the famous French label is determined to mark the occasion. It is launching its new brand platform Generation IKKS (to be pronounced X) in which we find all the lines for women, men and children. By repositioning itself as one and the same tribe, IKKS wants to recall its appetite for freedom and independence and also wants to get out of the shackles in which previous generations have tried to lock it up. We can therefore find iconic pieces of the brand designed for us, but also for our kids in mini version: the Biker leather jacket, the Ranger boots, or the famous IT Bag 1440. Ideal for parents who dream of match the outfits of their little darlings.

Marcel & Fifi, for second-hand clothes
Céline and Aurélie, two Belgian mothers convinced that it is possible to consume children's fashion differently, are behind the creation of the Marcel & Fifi site, a site for the purchase and resale of quality second-hand clothes and toys for children from 0 to 8 years old. The idea is to facilitate buying and selling and thus make second-hand a new consumption habit that is more respectful of the environment. The quality of each piece offered for sale is controlled. There are several brands there, but the platform makes it a point of honor to highlight Brussels businesses that share the same values of quality and sustainability.
